Terms of use
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Vuli, on the web or in the app. Vuli is provided by Gateway Technology Solutions ("we", "us"). By signing in or using Vuli, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
1. Who can use Vuli
Vuli is for schools and the people they invite: staff, students, and parents or guardians. Your school creates your account and decides what you can see and do. If you leave the school, it may switch your account off.
2. Your account
- Keep your password private and don't let anyone else use your account.
- Tell your school straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Students under 18 should use Vuli with the guidance of their school and parents.
3. Using Vuli properly
Use Vuli only for school purposes. Do not:
- look at, copy or share information you are not meant to see;
- post or send anything unlawful, abusive, threatening or hurtful, including in messages to staff, students or families;
- upload viruses or files you don't have the right to share;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of Vuli, or use automated tools to collect information from it.
We or your school may suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Schools' responsibilities
Schools that use Vuli are responsible for:
- having the right to record the information they keep about students, families and staff;
- keeping that information accurate;
- giving staff only the access their role needs;
- keeping administrator accounts secure.
5. Who owns the information
Each school owns the information it puts into Vuli. You own what you create, such as homework answers. We use information only to provide Vuli, as explained in the privacy policy. A school can ask for a copy of its information at any time.
6. Fees
Vuli is run on a not-for-profit basis: schools pay to cover the cost of running it, under the plan they choose. Families and students do not pay to use Vuli. School fees shown in Vuli are set by the school, and any payment of them is between the family and the school.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Vuli running and the information in it safe, and we back it up regularly. Sometimes it may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We improve Vuli over time, and features may change.
8. Responsibility
Vuli is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions made using information that a school or user entered. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Fiji law that cannot be limited.
9. Ending use
A school can stop using Vuli at any time, and can ask us for a copy of its information first. You can ask to delete your account; see deleting your account.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Fiji.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and tell schools about significant changes before they take effect.
